The number of Argentines living abroad experienced an exponential growth in the last decades, exceeding one million people, with half a million potential voters. Despite being eligible to vote, many abstained due to confusion about their inclusion in the electoral roll or disinterest in the affairs of Argentina.
For this reason, together with Laura Visco and Federico Zordan, we joined forces with a clear objective: to encourage the participation of those who, until now, had remained on the sidelines of this democratic exercise.
We created the campaign "No te hagas el europeo, andá a votar", which was mainly carried out on Instagram, with regular publications aimed at mobilizing Argentines abroad.
In addition, Meta Ads were used to promote publications in European capitals, the United States, Brazil and Uruguay.
The collaboration of Argentine influencers abroad and the Argentine gastronomic sector in different countries likewise helped to spread the campaign, providing stickers to customers to promote participation in the elections.
